A great day was had by 107 Cub Scout from nine Scout Groups in LeamingtonDistrict at the end of November.
Hatton Camp site saw the first ever “Cubs Christmas Capers” fun day.
Cub Scouts from around the district gathered together to spend a day enjoying each others company and having lots of fun.
On arrival the Cubs were sent on a treasure hunt, that was followed by Christmas Crafts, Hot dogs and mince pies for lunch and wide games in the afternoon.
As dusk fell, a session of firelighting culminated in the lighting of the Christmas Campfire. There were stories and jokes told, followed by everyone joining in with Christmas Carols. The Cubs enjoyed sitting around the roaring flames with mugs of hot chocolate.
The day ended with Cubs taking home a Christmas Treat, and hopefully their parents were able to get some Christmas shopping done too!
